My name is Nigel Paul. I am based in Ipswich and I cover Suffolk. Norfolk, North Essex and East Cambridgeshire as a wedding photographer.

I offer my services to couples who want their wedding photographed and to other wedding photographers on a freelance basis, either as a primary or secondary photographer.

For the past few years I have been working as a freelance photographer, assisting other wedding photographers as a secondary photographer. In 2006 I launched White Swan Photography and started to take on my own clients.

Like many modern wedding photographers, I like to capture the day in a documentary style, staying in the background, taking candid shots and concentrating on capturing those emotions and special moments ‘on-the–fly’.

If the happy couple are up for it, I also like to capture some posed shots, both in a traditional and a contemporary style.

Depending on your own perspective, posed shots can be great fun and an essential part of your wedding day... Or, they can be a pain in the behind. So.. it's your wedding and therefore your choice. Whatever your choice, I would be honoured to record your special day.

I am fully insured, and take a minimum of two cameras with me. On most wedding shoots I will bring an assistant with me who will also take photographs. I adhere to the code of conduct specified by the SWPP/BPPA
